Funding Options
Understanding the ways you can access support.
Families may be able to access Connect PTS services through private payment, private health insurance, Medicare or NDIS funding. The right pathway will depend on your child’s needs, eligibility and individual circumstances.
Our friendly team can explain the available options and help you understand the next step. You may also wish to check directly with your insurer, GP or NDIS contact before booking.
Choose Your Funding Pathway

Private Payment and Therapy Fees
Families can access many Connect PTS services privately without NDIS funding or a Medicare referral. Private payment may also be used for services that are not covered by another funding pathway.
Our current fee schedule includes information about appointment rates, travel, school visits, telehealth and other service-related charges. Fees and funding arrangements may change, so please contact our reception team if you need help understanding the costs that may apply to your family.
Private Health Insurance
Some allied health services may attract a rebate through private health insurance extras cover. The services covered and the amount you can claim depend on your insurer, policy, annual limits and the clinician providing the service.
We recommend contacting your insurer before your appointment to confirm your eligibility and expected rebate. Eligible claims may be processed at the clinic where this service is available.
Medicare
Children with an eligible chronic condition may be referred to an allied health professional under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. Medicare rebates may be available for a limited number of eligible allied health services each calendar year.
A GP referral is required. Medicare rebates may not cover the full appointment fee, and Connect PTS does not offer bulk billing. Please speak with your GP about eligibility and contact our team if you would like to understand the likely fees before booking.
NDIS
Connect PTS is a registered NDIS provider. If your child has an NDIS plan, funding may be used for eligible supports that relate to their plan goals and available budget.
The supports available will depend on your child’s individual plan and how their funding is managed. Our team can help you understand how Connect’s services may fit within the plan, but funding decisions remain subject to NDIS requirements.
