Specialist Literacy Clinic
Our specialist literacy clinic incorporates a Speech Pathologist’s expertise and a highly experienced Literacy Specialist Teacher to support children in reading and spelling development using evidence-based phonics instruction.

Circle of Security Parenting
A six-week program to help you understand your child’s needs by building quality relationships. Our trained facilitators will help parents understand their child’s emotional needs, support their child’s ability to manage emotions and develop their child’s self-esteem.

Physio Active
A fun, social and inclusive environment to develop physical skills. Children are supported to develop their gross motor skills in a small group setting as a bridge to participation in community sports.

Social Learning Labs
These learning labs look beyond the typical “Social Skills”. These are social learning groups based on the evidence-based Social Thinking™ frameworks designed to help children develop their social awareness, understand the hidden rules of our social world, and know how to navigate a range of social situations.

Motivate
A program designed to improve physical health and emotional wellbeing for teens. This multidisciplinary program is run by a Physiotherapist and Mental Health OT and teaches teens the skills needed to engage in resistance training safely and to develop strategies to manage mood, build self-esteem and motivation.

The Hanen Program - It Takes Two to Talk
It Takes Two to Talk is a family-focused program for parents of children aged 0-5 years. One of the greatest gifts parents can give their child is the help they need to communicate and connect with the world. You will learn practical and powerful strategies to help your child communicate and interact during everyday routines and activities.

KIDchen Explorers
This program is designed to promote social learning and social awareness opportunities in a fun, supportive and functional environment. Children also learn about healthy eating and learn some functional cooking skills. Our experienced Occupational Therapists and Dietitian run this innovative program.

Our Skills for School programs incorporate expertise from our range of clinicians to help give your child the best start to school!

Circle of Security Parenting

Circle of Security Parenting© in the Pilbara
Circle of Security© (COS-P) is a relationship–based parenting program that is based on over five decades of research. Circle of Security© encourages parents to better understand and meet their child’s emotional needs. Children who experience healthy and enriching caregiving are more likely to be empathetic, to regulate their emotions, and develop positive relationship skills to improve self-esteem and school readiness.
Using the COSP™ model developed by the Circle of Security originators, our highly experienced Facilitators work with parents and care-givers to help them to:
- Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
- Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
- Enhance the development of their child’s self esteem
- Honour the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure
Presented by our experienced team of facilitators, we have been delivering this program to the Pilbara for over 10 years.

Physio Active

A mini sports group run by our physiotherapy team aimed to develop gross motor skills and increase participation.
The aim for our Physio Active groups are to help prepare your child to participate successfully in community sports. They will be supported to develop
- Balance
- Coordination
- Strength
- Core Strength
- Endurance
Each participant is required to attend a 30 minute assessment prior to participating in the group.
- Toddlers: 2-4 years
- Tykes: 5-7 years
- Tweens: 8-11 years
- Teens: 12-14 years

It’s about more than just social skills!
SOCIAL LEARNING GROUPS BASED ON SOCIAL THINKING™ FRAMEWORKS
These groups are designed to help children develop their social awareness, understand the hidden rules of our social world, and to know how to navigate a range of social situations. Developing flexible thinking strategies and to overcome difficulties such as obsessive thinking, poor attention, poor self regulation, overreactions, bossiness, competitiveness and so much more.
Motivate

An innovative program designed to improve physical health and emotional wellbeing for teens. This multidisciplinary program is run by a Physiotherapist and Mental Health OT and teaches teens the skills needed to safely engage in resistance training and to develop strategies to manage mood, build self esteem and motivation.
Teens will increase their confidence in the gym and improve their engagement in therapy within a community setting. They will also learn strategies to enhance their motivation for daily activities.
This program is suitable for teens from 12-19 years.
